This s a great school that takes time to work with their students and customers. They have worked hard to creat a student environment that is productive. I find it interesting that some of the low rated reviews are students that would not follow basic rules and created a hostile environment! Good on AAC for standing up for the students that deserve to be there!

I was literally. Scalped in the back !! Entire back of my head cut with the clippers !!! Front was usual short haircut… poor student was watching Instructor in shock as the same as me!! It will grow back out , thank goodness!!! Horrible experience! For me !! I will never trust them again !! I figured I would get a simple short haircut !! I have natural wave !! All my friends.nd family are horrified !! I am a senior on a fixed income , thought I’d try a beauty school to save money !!!

Stop!!! Before you apply as a student to this school or try to gain employment make sure you read the reviews. This school has a toxic environment with some staff and students. Some students complain about not having having stable instructor but belittle and gossip about the instructors once the do get one. If some of the students don't like you they will frequently complain to the director about you especially when you enforce the rules. Some of the staff will gossip about you if they don't feel that you are a strong teacher or that you're standoffish. The teachers that have been grandfathered in run the show it seems like they train you to be one way on the floor but also contradict themselves when they tell you to follow the rules of the establishment. If you become a student here it is a great School once they find teachers that will be consistent and follow the rules and making sure that you're doing what you know you're supposed to be doing because you have documentation that you sign to be following the rules. Students should be willing to learn from the instructors not give them an attitude on a regular basis. I hope whoever becomes an instructor here and survives I wish them well that means you made it.
