First, I could believe how over[riced ALL motels were on the recent trip I took. However, relatively speaking, this Super 8 in Effingham was very nice. The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. The motel is safe and in a great location. The room was very comfortable. I highly recommend it!

Stay was good but I left a very expensive fan behind on accident and called ahead because I’m coming back through I know it was left in the room on the desk but they have “no record “ of my clip on fan in the lost in found so I’m pretty sure when the room was cleaned it was grabbed by a employee because I know 100% it was on the desk … again not their fault for me leaving it behind but the dishonesty is crushing

Stayed one night to crash for the night because I'm driving from Wisconsin to Alabama and needed a place for the night. Easy check in. Pet friendly. Front desk guy was nice to us but rude to the person in front of us (we don't know anything about that). Rooms are clean. Found lots of ants crawling around the room though. Close to Walmart and MANY restaurants!

The man at the front desk was extremely rude and unwelcoming. The hotel is a good and cheap place for a stopping through night. The room was comfortable and we slept great. If you’re looking for a nice place to stay, this is not it :)
