I'm not sure about hooking up speakers or sound systems but people were playing stereos pretty loudly. I would try and keep the music to your area to respect neighboring parties. Anything that needs a sound system like a DJ situation, you should probably run it by park staff before going as there may be permits needed for that.

They do into the park, but not the pool area.

To the park yes, but no food is allowed by the pool. There are picnic tables and bbq stations, if not certain just ask at the gate where on the park is food allowed for a picnic. No alchohol is allowed tho

I've seen high schoolers swim in the Lake and they come out just fine. I mean if you want to go for a late-night swim with friends it's okay. I'm never going to personally I put my foot in it sitting on the Strip that's it

Yes you can bring your own chairs but they do have park bench with their tables in the picnic area and yes you coud bring chair yo the pool real and yes they have locker's

Depending where you're coming from but by bus take the Rockland Coach. If you're in the city you can catch at the Port Authority Bus Terminal or the George Washington Bridge bus station. Round trip from the George Washington Bridge bus station is $20 from the Port Authority bus terminal is $22 round trip. If you're coming within Rockland County you can still catch the Rockland Coaches Bus. By train you can take the Metro North to Tarrytown and then catch the Tappan Zee Express to Nyack it'll drop you off close to Rockland Lake State Park.

Rockland Lake Park East. Go north towards Rockland Lake North and then follow the path lock for should be open since it's after Memorial Day but the fee is 8 bucks per person to enter the park if you're driving. It's cheaper to park your car just outside the state park and just walk in it's free

Fishing is great there. If you learn the history of the lake you'll find out that it use to be where they harvested ice. That burnt down leaving just the supports left in the water, this creates a great habitat for large mouth bags. There are also a lot of Lilly pads all around the shore edges.

I'm sure anyone can. It's a park that you'll need to reserve your spot specifically to hold a large picnic area with bbq. So there is a free for a permit to enter. Contact them directly. Our church went there for the first time i'm not sure the cost.

The pool is located in Rockland Lake North. Depending on where you're coming from say from Upper Nyack drive it to you see Rockland Lake Road turn right at the light make a right and follow that all the way around the lake will take you straight up to Rockland Lake North or if you come in from upper Congress / Valley Cottage take Lake Road North by turning left at the light from the pool is just a few hundred yards away

Yes, but you need a permit to do so. If caught without it you can be ticketed. I think its $30 for the year and that also gives you access to many other lakes in Harriman State Park
