We purchased a car 6 months ago from Brooklyn Motor Sports. It was our daughters first car and she used her savings to buy it, unfortunately in the current market that came at the tune of 10k. We noticed tire pressure light came on, we brought it to their attention and they sent it out to have tires looked at, prior to pickup. After pickup the tire pressure light came on again, faulty sensor. The transmission just went and now we are looking at over 7k for a rebuilt, If we can find one. Brooklyn Motor Sports says 'not our problem, you should have purchased an extended warranty'....or purchase another car (from them). I had looked over the reviews and saw all the negatives, but I know things happen and to sometimes look past the negatives. I get it, things happen....now a young adult is out 10k And a car. Do your research on make/model, this market is trending high mileage vehicles at premium prices. It's not a lot to ask a business to try to work with you, to say 'not our problem should have bought the extended warranty', that eliminates their culpability and puts it on you, the consumer. But...in CT it is 'buyer beware'...so....beware Brooklyn Motor Sports.

Massive waste of time. Really scummy people. Don't use them for anything.

Alrighty where to start. I wouldn’t recommend this dealership to anyone, even with poor credit, because ultimately you’ll probably end up spending more in repairs than you did in your official purchase. I have owned my vehicle for about 3 months now and in that time I think I have had to fully replace the oil in my engine roughly ten times. I brought this to the mechanics attention, and was met with an explanation that it was normal for my vehicle, with 135,000 miles at the time, to run out of oil every TWO weeks and need to be frequently checked and filled. Obviously, this is not normal. I am unsure whether they did not have the mechanical knowledge of my model to catch it, or just simply did not want to pay the cost of the repairs under my warranty. I needed a vehicle quickly when I was at my point of purchase, but I feel that inspection of the vehicle was so overlooked. This dealership repaired my vehicle just well enough to drive off the lot. I have a broken window motor I identified to them and they did not fix. It took me two scheduled visits to their shop to get all the dashboard buttons to function properly, and another couple visits to get my brakes looked at for grinding. A few weeks after I bought my vehicle, I looked at my oil life percentage and noticed that it was already at 13%. When I brought this up to my point of contact, I tried to express that I didn’t believe a proper oil change was done based on what I saw. I was met with attitude? It took one conversation with a NAPA professional for me to understand the problem with my car, something these mechanics failed to do for me in several different instances. If you are going to sell a vehicle with a known defect, either fix it or make it known. My engine has almost blown several times due to this. Do you know how expensive it is to replace an engine fault and it’s pistons? I feel like I was tricked into buying a vehicle, which although I do love the model, I hate everything else. *UPDATE i started having problems with my tires holding air several months after purchasing the car. after replacing one, i went to replace a second tire that had another slow leak. turns out, the tires have dry rot! not only did they give me dead tires, it was also brought to my attention that my front two tires don’t match the treads of my back two tires. i have now replaced all the tires, and had to get the vehicle completely realigned. i started having starter problems, which has made turning my car on a hit or a miss. get. your. vehicle. checked. by. a. trusted. mechanic. before. your. warranty. is. up. 👍🏻

I will hold the complete thought of my time with BMS because we have a long way to go. So far tho, Reading alot of these reviews they have kept up all the same standards of there poor services and sketchy acts. I am a 54yr old Disabled independent individual, trying to make it in this economy. I came to them for the second time. "First time i didn't pull the trigger ". Talked with Tracy. She seems to be the spunky go to quick speaking tell you everything you want to hear the pass the ball to Marianne when it comes to finance or to thro you off when it comes to a serious question. I digress. I pulled the trigger got a Nissan Altima After telling Tracy everything I was looking for in a car 🚗 . Mind you I was already set on another car. That's what we were going to finance for bla bla.. Comes back Ooh sorry you weren't approved for that one you were approved for the Altima. Mind you I have told them I am Disabled and on Disability. Told Tracy numerous times I do things without thinking and she kept selling me this altima .. I DIDNT HAVE TIME TO SEE THE UNDRSIDE .THE PARKING LIGHTS , LOOK IVER THE ENGINE , THEY VACCUMED THE WET AREAS WHERE MOON ROOF IS DEFINITELY GOING TO BE AN ISSUE DOWN THE ROAD. THEY KNEW THIS. I HAVE ALREADY HAD THE CAR IN WITH THEM TO FIX A COUPLE OF THE ISSUES BEORE THE 7 DAY WARRANTY AND THEY DIDN'T FIX ANYTHING THEY GAVE IT BACK TO ME WOULD CALL WHEN NEW PARTS COME IN. AND THEY CLEARED THE CODES SO ALL THE OTHER THINGS THAT WERE SHOWING UP DISAPPEARED UNTIL NEXT MANY MILES...AGAIN I AM DISABLED NOT STUPID PEOPLE. I HAVE BEEN AROUND I MAY NOT CATCH ON RIGHT AWAY BUT WHEN I DO I FEEL SORRY FOR YOU..

Depends on the vehicle you chose but my payments aren't over that amount.
We would need 2 paystubs from the last 30 days, also would need proof of residency and a valid drivers license.
minimum is 500 so they say. they wouldnt do anything for me until i put 2k down. advice, dont waste your time ive had nothing but problems with them and their cars.
Yes but financing charge crazy 18.99percent and vehicles not worth total cost of 10,000 plus bad place to buy car
