Sunday very busy but the line moves quickly. I would suggest one person look for a table while the other person is ordering. It’s first come first serve. The coffee is one of the best coffees I’ve had in a very very long time. The granola bowl was delicious with the pecans.Shout out to Maren who took my order and personally delivered my coffee. Keep doing what you’re doing, you will be very successful in life. I would definitely recommend this place.

Insane wait times on Sunday so always be mindful about what time you go. My food has always been great! I def recommend their hot chocolate it’s HUGE and very filling - best way to warm up on a cold day :)

Carolina Coffee Shop on Franklin is a great stop. They had our food prepared and served in lead than 10 minutes after we sat down. Coffee is excellent and various. The food menu is also extensive with breakfast brunch and lunch options. Inside the shop is a little crowded when we went in but there was plenty of outdoor seating available however, even though it was busy we had a very little wait. The servers were very nice and came to check up frequently and maintain a positive status. Very nice breakfast for bringing family in town visiting.

I am a regular at this restaurant and each time it is a positive experience. The food is always great and there is something for everyone on the menu. I have tried and recommend the chicken and waffles and the shrimp and grits. All of the staff are very kind and consistently check in on customers to make sure they are still doing well and have full drinks. My servers have always been happy to quickly bring out things we need like more drinks or sides. I have had Ryan V and Marie G as my servers recently and I have nothing but compliments. The wait times are very reasonable, of course it takes a little bit longer to be seated and get food or drinks when it is really busy but that is understandable. I love the cozy, warm, and friendly atmosphere inside the restaurant, and the outside seating right on Franklin Street is great as well and perfect for if you have pets. 1922 next door (also a part of CCS) also has good vibes and great service and I am looking forward to going there more for coffee as well once it reopens!

When I worked at the Coffee shop in 1997ish David worked there also
The tables inside have been spaced out and blocked off to maintain social distancing. Masks are required inside except when eating. There is also outdoor seating if you are willing to brave the cold! They are also doing takeout orders through the back door. We felt very safe at one of our fav CH restaurants and can't wait to come back!
No, high pedestrian and automobile traffic area
I am pretty sure they still have omelets all day. (Great cornflsk french toast if there for breakfast/lunch!). Great sandwiches & things still "brunch worthy"! PS- I would not auto classify this as "bar" as someone commented.
