Nice place, but short on books, computers, and DVDs. 4 women on duty behind the service counter which seems to be made of bullet-proof glass, like a bank. 3 elderly ladies in library T-shirts couldn't answer any of my questions. The younger gal knew the answers. Why is the county paying cushy salaries to 4 employees who don't know much or DO much? That library will be a mecca and refuge for townsfolks if there is a prolonged power outage due to storms, or worse. I bet they don't even have a backup generator. Shame on the town council for not being prepared. Does the town have ANY emergency supplies, or even a PLAN?

Thanks for the question, Connie. We provide Internet access through our publically-accessible computers and free Wi-Fi. Patrons have the option to print from our public access computers or from their own mobile devices via our wireless printer. To use one of our computers, bring your Lewis County Public Library card OR a valid ID and sign in at the circulation desk. No identification or password is needed to use access our free Wi-Fi. There is a nominal charge to print in either color or black and white.
