I have not been here in about a decade and I realize now why I haven’t. The food is.. awful. Don’t expect anything unique. However, I thought to myself this would be a great place to go to the bar and grab a drink and some cheese curds or an appetizer… but then then I see that they allowed an actual child to sit at the bar… turns out it was a family member of the owners. Very off putting. Will not be back… I don’t care if you own the place or not but I don’t want to see a child sitting at the bar. I sit at a bar to be away from kids. Not be near them. UPDATE You know.. I wasn’t even going to go here. But it irritated me. I was kind before.. but your food is terrible. We paid nearly 90$ for instant food I can make myself for a quarter of the price. So my mother and I went here (yeah I am am I am momma’s boy and love my mom) and apparently she forgot her card here when we went (we went Dutch this time) and when she called to see if her card was here (it was) an owner/manager threatened to withhold any further donation to her Elementary school (she’s been in education for 30 years) because I left a bad review. REAL mature. If you can’t take criticism you are in the wrong business. Stay away from this place. Definitely will never go here again.

Not only is this one the best pubs tucked away in Tavares, it's as authentic as you can get. The atmosphere, service, and food is awesome. We will be back to sit on the patio when weather is cooler! (Btw, ask about the mugs on the wall.)
