This was my first visit. Very efficient. Very pleased with the staff and all facets of the visit. I was completely satisfied with The doctor’s time, attention, explanations & solutions. I feel every confidence with this doctor.

On the recommendation of a friend I went to the Orthopedic Institute in Summerfield. My one complaint is that after my operation, they send you to the doctors assistant for any follow-up. I made an apt. to see my doctor, (so I thought) because I was having so much pain after an operation that he did a few weeks before. When I got there for my apt., no doctor, just his aide. He told me to take 8-10 Tylenol a day for pain. ( goodbye liver) I'm sure the doctor could have told me what the pain was from, but once they operate on you, you are at the mercy of the non doctor! Great job for the doctors, not so great for the patients. Plus, this place is cortisone shot happy. They always want to give you a shot. My family doctor suggested a MRI to see why I was having pain after I told him I had a few cortisone shots that were not helping. He said, did they do an MRI? The shots were useless and unnecessary for my problem. My past experience with Florida Orthopedic was much better. You always saw the doctor before and after an operation. He goes over in depth what he sees and they give you an office visit sum up when you leave. They also have a good patient portal. They are much more professional than The Orthopedic Institute. They actually do follow-up to see how you are doing.Next time I will do the ride to Temple Terrace and skip The Orthopedic Institute.

All about the money. Herd patients into a large waiting area. 1.5 hours later still waiting. Overbooking ...no regard for patients.

Not sure but maybe at the one in Ocala
My grandson is a patient there I do not have that information for you. I suggest you give them a call and talk to their insurance section. If they do and you become a patient there you won't be disappointed I've never seen such caring people in a clinic setting as they are.
Ms. Tidwell, We do accept United Healthcare of The Villages. Thank you!
