Visit went flawless with Stephanie Mandell ARNP. Then it all went downhill FAST. During the visit I informed her that my primary doctor told me to discuss an adrenal gland concern because he wasn’t comfortable keeping me on even a low dose of 10mg prednisone and that my endocrinologist was the one to handle it. Stephanie Mandell said she would prescribe 20mg prednisone and order more blood work to check adrenal gland hormone levels and told me not to take the prednisone the morning I do the labs in 6 weeks. (Follow, told me not to take a prescription she is prescribing) Well, she never sent the script to the pharmacy and instead increased my Synthroid and there was no reason at all to increase my Synthroid. I tried to get her to correct her error for 3 1/2 days and I kept getting ignored and finally at 5:00 on Friday evening I get a message in the patient portal that she never told me she would prescribe prednisone, says she told me to get it from my Primary doctor (WHAT?, nope, logic dictates she didn’t say that due to reason I brought it up to begin with at my visit) so, that’s an out right lie. I understand mistakes can be made, I was patient for 3 and a 1/2 days waiting for the error to be corrected. It wasn’t and in the end it’s always best to be a professional and own up to your mistake. I even paused and took notes during the visit and I even started crying thanking her profusely because I would finally get enough mobility back to be able to get in the shower more often because currently I can only shower once or twice a week. She assured me she would help me figure out what’s going on. Shame! Shame shame shame! I will be filing a complaint with my insurance company, with the medical board and I will be requesting a new doctor. This is such a gross lack of professionalism.

Dr. Owen is a wonderful doctor and it's always great when I get to see her. However, the staff and the people that work on the phones are not that friendly and they always get my paper work wrong, my scheduling wrong, or won't send any reminders of anything that is needed for the appointments I do have scheduled. It has been harder and harder to actually see Dr. Owen since I first started going.

I absolutely love this building. It's 2 floors, disability friendly and has a drop off areas on either entrances. Also the cafe is a relaxing environment where visitors can sit and wait. They recently moved to this location in the 2005 building and NO LONGER are in the 1925 building.

Dr Owen is very nice and helpful but her staff not so much. The staff is rude on the phone and in person, they don’t seem to care about the patients but put on a show in front of the doctor.
