Terrible service, just not there any more and no one wants to answer any questions. No one in the gaming section, phones, etc. I can see Best Buy dying a slow business death. On a weekend with the parking lot 1/10th full. Waited 4 minutes for a cashier. Just stood waiting. 4 people in the Geek section not busy. Over priced, no stock, no selection. Nope, will try other department stores or Amazon.

I just visited this location and the staff members act as though you being in the store is a bother. I walked past a group of five workers who ignored me and kept at their personal conversation. The cashier in the front definitely gave the vibe of I was bothering him, no greeting, no thank you, etc. if I continue to shop at Best Buy, it will be online only!!! This store is a perfect example of why customers prefer to shop online

Absolute mess. “Supervisor” is dismissive, unapproachable, and completely unhelpful. Prepaid an installation with Geek Squad, and they have cancelled my appointments without notice. Have had to go in-person twice to discuss this, as well as multiple phone calls where every person scheduled a new appointment for the installation, instead of just explaining why the original one didn’t happen and ensuring that they actually can send someone out to the location for the installation. Nobody is of help, and they all are working like chickens with their heads chopped off. Definitely will never be coming back here again.

After leaving the Verizon store and one of my worst experiences of customer service ever we came to Best buy. We got Dylan as our rep and proceeded to make a phone purchase. He was able to make the purchase painless. We were able to make the switch from Verizon seamlessly over the internet. The only glitch occurred when activating the new phone and had to call customer service with the new phone company. Can't say enough good about him. Kudos.👍

No, Geek Squad does not fix TVs. Usually the process involves shipping the TV out to the maufacturer to deal with it. If you bought Geek Squad Protection, you can get a replacement for the item.
I had no luck with roku since my tv is too close to wall. Instead, I bought an indoor antenna from best buy about 3 years ago. I bought a mohu leaf 50 for $79. On sale yesterday for $59. No monthly fee. Just plug one end of cord into back of tv and other end into antenna. Do a scan and it will pickup all the channels. It's about 12x12". You can hang on wall or window. Mine is on floor behind cabinet. Plenty of channels. Very long cord so you can position tv anywhere. But if you are stuck on roku, best buy geek squad can assist you. They are super.
Geek Squad works a reservation system so that you don't have to wait too long to be helped. When you pick your laptop up, they should be going through the work they did with you and answering any questions you may have. That along with closing out the paperwork takes time. Therefore, they schedule the pickup for your convenience. When they start taking in walk-ins the wait time can be up to 2 hours. Then people are angry and frustrated. So instead, they use the reservation system.
yes
You should call the store. They don't normally answer questions on Google maps
Try modems from Netgear and Linksys. It will say on the box what cable companies they support.
I would call the location bought at, and try to exchange.
I observed Best Buy staff wearing masks and maintaining safe distances.
In-store shopping is allowed. Appointment booking is not required. But, it is better to call them
Have you tried raid shadow legends?
Best buy does have a Trade-in program. I've never used it but at the bottom of the home page of their website, under Support and services, there is a link to information on the trade-in program. Looks like they will provide you an estimated trade in value based on what you have and its condition. You'll have to check if they'll accept what you have.
Yes, Geek Squad fix it. But their service charges are expensive, than the new controller cost.
Laptops and rechargable batteries are taken for recycling. You can find a full list of what is recycled online at bestbuy.com
If you bought geek squad protection then take it to the store. If it needs to be sent out for service you will pick it up from geek squad when it's done being fixed.
For in store recycling BestBuy accepts CRTVs size 32 inches and smaller. For flat panel TVs 50 inch and smaller are accepted. There is a haul away option for larger TVs. It is a $25 fee per TV recycled.
They don’t ever answer calls
Geek Squad is Apple certified and will change the batteries of iPhones. It is a $40 or $50 charge, by appointment only. It usually takes about an hour. You can get it done quicker and cheaper at other places, but those places are NOT Apple certified. Once your iPhone has been serviced by a non-Apple certified vendor, no Apple certified vendor will fix it, including Apple themselves.
we've been on hold over 1 HOUR and still no answer. called using my 2nd phone and it's also on hold.
Yes they do, you can also order them on Amazon.
The limit on CRTVs is 32 inches in store and it is a $25 charge. There is a haul away option for TVs larger than 32 inches.
