The menu selection which we viewed before going heading to Marker 39 was interesting and we were excited to try the restaurant’s version of a paella. The restaurant was an pleasant place to be; the restaurant staff were very friendly and accommodating and the decor was lovely. I ordered myself a glass of wine. The wine was delicious, and the food was ready quickly. Unfortunately where it went wrong and why I have to drop my rating to three stars: The paella was not even enough food for one person, unless that person had eaten something else before getting the paella. It was $32 dollars, which is $3 more than what is displayed on their menu online, and we had decided to only order the paella and see how we felt about ordering more food. My spouse did not care for the flavor combination of their paella, while I enjoyed it but was disappointed at how little food we were given. There seemed to be little more than a quarter cup of rice and then a broth with a variety of seafood and chicken (we asked for no chorizo), and two plaintain chips. The variety of seafood included was excellent in my opinion but we just needed more food, especially for the price and with the notion that this is labeled as the restaurant’s version of a paella. We decided to take the check and go elsewhere to eat as we were worried that we would order another meal and still end up hungry.

Really cute place in safety harbor! We had a wonderful server, Jenna, who was an absolute delight on Friday night. Highly recommend the Nemo roll appetizer or the calamari, both very good. Really enjoyed the jerk chicken as well! We will be back. One note - it is a SMALL place so reservations are recommended! We didn't have them this time but walked in right as they opened and got seated, but it filled up very quickly!

We have lived in Safety Harbor for about 12 years. We almost never do reviews because we are rarely impressed with our dining experience. However every time we eat at marker 39 we are always impressed with owner/Chef Justin’s creations. I recommend the Cuban pork crisis and the bacon sweet potato hash! Off of the main strip but worth it! Thanks for another great dinner Justin.

Marker 39 is continuing with phase 2 protocols to protect our patrons and staff, despite phase 3 reopening. While monitoring the Covid situation, we will continue to have limited indoor seating, all tables at least 6 feet apart in order to practice social distancing, all employees are wearing masks and all patrons are asked to wear masks unless seated at their table. We also provide stations with large bottles of hand sanitizer in several locations in the restaurant and upon entering the outdoor patio.

I don't know off hand if they offer them but they are great people & may be willing to work something out with you. The food is out of this world & the people are better
They are usually closed on Mondays and Tuesdays, so I doubt it.
Call them. The other/chef is super nice.
I found them quite comfortable. Perhaps more engaging dining companions would help?.
