RIBC upper management are clueless, they only care about their fat bonuses every year. Lisa has not idea of what is what or who is who.

I have been a donor for seven years at the blood center. I love donating blood and platelets every other month. The check in and out is simple. I have met Kerry, Mary, Emily and their newest nurses Kyle and Sarya. They are wonderful and helpful. They always welcome everyone kindly and make sure you are comfortable. If the television is on or they have music or the nurse is nearby you can chat with them. In the recent couple of years the donor volunteers has declined, my friend Joanne and I have signed up to volunteer to help out every other month or every couple of weeks. The nurses are great to work with and they teach you interesting facts. Overall, wonderful place and fantastic nurses. I highly recommend anyone to sign up. 💝 🏥

Donating blood helps other people and it may be good for your health too! For example men who donate blood regularly have been shown to be less likely to have a heart attack or a stroke as they age. I always have a great experience here, everyone is professional and friendly. What are you waiting for?

Surprisingly rude and sloppy, and this is especially disappointing because of the current shortage. Both the assistant checking my iron and phlebotomist left me bloody and i had to actually ask for a wipe even though the blood smeared finger and arm was obvious. The phlebotomy needs work, the person went through my vein and cut my double red donation short because of it. Wasn't at all a friendly or welcoming individual who did it either. I'll probably not be going back to this location. Only giving this place two stars as opposed to one because at least i got the equivalent of a single whole blood versus nothing at all.

You’ll have to ask them directly. You may call or visit. Thank you.
If it was done in a certified shop, you don't have to wait.
Yes. The nurse who attended me explained as long as it's been two or two and a half weeks since vaccination, you can donate blood. They will ask you what type of vaccine and last date of the last shot. I hope this helps you.
None
Yes, you can donate as long as on the day you're donating you feel well.
Donors, and those who have medical prescription for therepeutic blood removal (eg hematochromatosis). They don't do, say, blood tests to see if your kidneys are working OK. For that kind of blood draw you need to go to a regular lab.
