Books🥰 I miss the big bookstore on Mainstreet and the one on Victoria Blvd is so charming with its accent pieces. The one closest is on Big Bethal. Its a rare chance to find a large collection of books. Being a book collector, its only rare chances I enter such establishments hoping to find a horde of treasures. I found a few today. One in particular was for my GOT collection. Not a bad deal for 2$ for the set.

How I've been 2.6 miles from this library for six months and never visited is beyond comprehension! Clean (pristine actually), well-organized, neat; not to mention wonderfully helpful and friendly people at the front desk! And of course …

Yes. They have a general 5 and under story time Fridays from 10:30-11 roughly. They do a great job!
Hello, we have meeting rooms available that seat about 20-25 people. Give us a call for details regarding booking the room! (757)-825-4558
Hello Jerry, you can call us at (757)-825-4558 or check our online catalog on https://hampton.gov/1249/Online-Catalog to look for a book.
Hello Robert, None of the Hampton Branches currently carry "Election Night 2016" by Jane Mayer. If you would like, you can come in or fill out an interlibrary loan form online (https://hampton.gov/2712/Online-Inter-Library-Loan-Request-Form) to have the book delivered from another library to the Northampton branch.
Library cards are free for Virginia Residents.
Should be at any public library, but call to make sure they have them in stock. Government shut down messed that up for a while.
You can log on to the HAMPTON PUBLIC LIBRARY website and look it up in the catalog. They will even transport the book from one branch library to another if it's more convenient for you.
I believe printing is available for a per page charge. Best to call directly to get cost and availiblity.
Hello Ronald! The fines for overdue items varies based on the item type. For overdue children's items, the fine is 5¢ per day, per item with a $1 maximum fine per item. For overdue adult materials, books on CD, DVDs, Playaway Launchpads, and litter clean up kits, the fine is 10¢ per day per item with a $5 maximum fine per item. For overdue mobile hotspots, the fine is 10¢ per day per item with a $72 maximum fine per item. For inter-library loans, the fine is 50¢ per day with a $10 maximum fine per item. Maximum fines means that the fine will stop accumulating one it reaches a specific dollar amount. I hope this answers your question! Northampton Branch Library
