My favorite Academy location. It just seems like it has more than the other Academy stores. Great selection and great prices compared to Dick’s Sporting Goods. This particular location has ample parking and there are a few great choices nearby if you need to eat close.

I love academy, always have. I live minutes away from this location. Unfortunately, this store is consistently a hot mess. Completely unorganized, items are miss priced and in the wrong place. The charcoal isle is pathetic. Was in the store today looking for a softball glove. Complete disarray. It’s as if the manager is either lazy or doesn’t care. Really sad.

Always have great service at the Customer Service desk, easy returns of swap outs, and they have things ready for pickup in a timely manner. I would say they have a very decent selection of variety of outdoor equipment, tools and clothing.

Went shopping for a new smoker/barbecue unit. Looked at the master built gravity bed 1050 Model. Wow this is a great unit!! anyway went to the first place all they had was a floor model with stuff missing so went to this place on Tarrant Count rd they just had a floor unit also. The difference was Alan the manager. We came over and looked at the unit and without even being asked he lowered the price which I never even really expected I just wanted all the parts to be there in a manual lol I’m old-school. At any rate I was happy to get that and the discount was nice even though it was not called for in anyway shape or form. Thanks Allen I really appreciate it and by the way I went on that website for the reviews oh my god what a Beating🤣😂 you might want to talk to them corporate geeks and tell him Google makes it easier for a review.
