I've changed my opinion about best buy. Seemed to improved in some area and much worse in others. Still takes what seems like hours to buy a candy bar...would you like to puchase a 300.00 dollar extended warranty with your mars bar? Enough already just let me leave. Would be nice to have more computer stuff, since fry's is gone now. They are trying match amazons pricing. Thanks

My email wasn’t my current one so I couldn’t give a direct review so I figured I’d come here. My phone desperately needed a new battery and Apple recommended I come here to get it fixed. (forgive me if I’m misspelling these names) Jack helped me initially and was extremely helpful with all things tech and made it a breeze. While there was a mishap with my phone after it passed diagnostics and I left, (NOT their fault), Jack and Cassie did absolutely everything they could do to fix it and did. I didn’t get the last guys name so if you see this and are brunette, have curly hair and was working in customer service - I appreciate you too!! They all were extremely courteous, helpful and took so much time to make sure I was comfortable while waiting and wouldn’t have any issues forward. I genuinely am so appreciative of everything they did today and they truly deserve some recognition and appreciation :)

I have nothing but praise for the local customer service and the Geek Squad--have used them regularly for a number of years. They are professional, always solve my problems, including data transfer from one computer to the other. I would not go anywhere else. BUT the national service is AWFUL. With Best Buy being a tech related company, their national customer and tech service is the worst I have ever encountered. First of all, you cannot call the local store and trying to go through the maze nationally is just plain frustrating. I usually give up and drive to the store if I need help. The tech support at the national level frequently seems to be answered by someone whose first language is other than English, so right away they are trying to understand me and I am trying to understand them. For example, my new desktop was referred to as a "dower."--translation "tower." When you have a tech problem it is hard enough to explain and discuss. I have been disconnected several times--no call back, even though they have my number and even though I often request a call back if disconnected. I often just give up and go to the actual store. If it were not for our local experts, I would not darken the doors of Best Buy. Their national system is a downright insult to their customers. P.S. I am reviewing here because their system for review is cumbersome and designed to discourage people from reviewing them!!

Best to contact the DVD player manufacturer for troubleshooting, if no help try pioneer customer service. Best buy may be able to help if you go in with your specific model info for DVD playrr, receiver, and DVD player info. Good luck!

No they do not carry replacement batteries for lg phones. Amazon will be your best option. Phone batteries can be very specific, so even battery stores typically dont have them in stock.
