What an amazing market. Fresh products. I will definitely be again!

Overall, I love Guido's -- their produce and meat/seafood sections are the best anywhere, and it's always been my favorite place to shop. However, I've noticed a slip in the staff in recent months at the Pittsfield store. A teenage cashier was too engrossed in her phone to help bag my groceries (typically a Guido's staple service). Two weeks ago, a cashier checked me out and as I was saying thank you, she turned around and started talking to her friend at the next register. And I experienced an unpleasant exchange at the fish counter last week when I forgot to ask for my fish to be cut a certain way (my mistake, I admit). However, the counter guy made a snide remark and even though I agreed to take the fish he cut, he wrapped it and just tossed it on the counter. I'm hoping this doesn't become the norm, because it's too expensive to feel bad about shopping there. Only taking off one star because it's still the best store around...for now.

Beautiful place. Excellent customer service. Great selection. A bit more on the pricey side maybe.

Exactly as named. Parking lot design is good, but overwhelmed by the popularity of the store. You will be pleased you took the time to find a parking spot.

I have been shopping at wonderful Guido's for over 30 years. It most certainly is not a market just for the rich. Guido's prices for some items are, in fact, below supermarket prices. And, there is a very nice senior citizen discount most weeks. In short: If good, healthful food is a priority in your life, it is wise to shop at Guido's.
Guidos offers prepared food to take home and enjoy.

Guido's Fresh Market has a website where you could search for products carried.
Yuppers, I think it rarely closes, but a few times a year.
I agree with Ron. Guidos has a similar mission/vibe to Whole Foods.
I do not know. It is not something that I have bought there.
