Yes there is a fee I can't remember I don't think anything higher than 15 bucks a person but it is for sure worth it
To make reservations for a group you can call the museum. During the open days and times there is no need for a reservation.
The railroad museum has some scale models (Ho and O) that they take to shows but currently there is not a model on display other than the garden railroad outside the children's depot used for rides. There are plans to build a larger visitor's center that will have models in the future.
