Very disappointed. My elderly father contracted COVID19 which was detected with a home test. We immediately took him to Sharon hospital for evaluation and treatment. He was running a fever and exhibited all of the hallmark symptoms or the disease. The attending physician never confirmed the test with a PCR test, NEVER TREATED ONE SYMPTOM, nor did he ask about any co-morbidities that may contribute to a potentially more serious outcome from the disease. He only said "follow up with your primary physician" and sent him home. As most know it takes weeks to get an appointment with your primary doctor and beside, why wouldn't you just treat a patient when they have come to the hospital in distress? Luckily we found another wonderful Dr. who immediately recognized that my father was at a greater risk from COVID due to his age and history, then subsequently prescribed the recommended antivirals which the CDC states "Medications to treat COVID-19 must be prescribed by a healthcare provider and started as soon as possible after diagnosis to be effective." This treatment put my father on a path to recovery, reduced his suffering and an uncertain outcome. The way that the Dr at Sharon Hospital managed this patient went against all of the most basic canons of medicine.

Jill in the surgery dept made our experience wonderful! My husband got surgery and she explained everything, took her time with us and made the experience smooth! Very down to earth and helpful. I hope everyone gets to experience what we did!

My family got into a major accident, no fault to us, and were transported to the Sharon hospital. I want to thank the paramedic Chris, who took care of us in the ambulance, and then the hospital staff, the nurse, Isac, the IR physicians Drs Kogel and Santos, and the CT technician Mr. Lau. I may have forgotten some others, still being in shock in the IR. I want to thank the entire staff for taking excellent care of us. They were kind, competent, and very understanding handling the whole thing. We did not even have to wait hours before being seen. It was very reassuring to experience of being in good hands after the trauma of the accident. Thank you again, your work is much valued and appreciated. Eleonora Nagy and family.

The better question is; What kinds of patients and horrible medical traumas does it take to make someone cynical and cause them to act like a jerk?
not sure you could try they have a really nice maternity ward there
I would assume so. You should come in for a consult. We frequently have people from NY come in.
I brought a friend last week and she got the moderns one there
The town hall would be a good place to check with.
I would check with medical records at the hospital or check with the town hall
