Service is HORRIBLE in Cotuit. Missed pickups, can't reach customer service, nobody at Republic cares. They should get "negative" stars. Update 2021-22. Slowly their service is improving once I was able to make contact with the LOCAL office. This has raised their rating to four (4) stars. Most issues are now solved within minutes.

I have been with this company for several years and find Republic Services continuously ups their charges every year and now even more frequently. They charge over $100 a quarter more than other services, they frequently miss pick-ups of trash and recycle items which are on two different days. I have terminated services and was owed a credit for a missed pick-up in my last quarter, they would not send this money because they charged me to pick up there own barrels upon termination of service. What a major rip-off.

They changed my recycling day and have missed every pickup since…...it’s over a month since my recycling has been picked up. I’ve called about the missed pickups and they haven’t come to get it even on the missed pickup days. No communication from them when they “elevate the matter”. At this point I’m thinking it’s time to look for another trash company. I’m a little sad because I’ve had them for years and I don’t feel as though they value the customer anymore.
