The air-conditioned in side is very nice and the bathroom was nice as well.used it to go to the water park for the weekend 😀 😄.

Lovely station and well kept. Would really like to see Sunrail be more Parent friendly and accessible- especially for parents with strollers, extremely difficult to make the parents break down the stroller with multiple little children and then bring them aboard safely without a ramp. I watched this couple miss the train - all because the assistant working that day would neither help them(direct them on where to go or even assist them) with their stroller nor wait for them to load safely with their children. She just watched them struggle then signaled the train to leave. Shame on sunrail! Would like to specify this attendant was on the train - watched the parents struggling told them they needed to break down the stroller and then signaled the train to leave though they had not boarded yet.

Starting from Winter Park FL take Train 98, transfer at Richmond VA, to train 84 to the Ashland VA station.
I do know that it goes to Atlanta. There may B another train and or bus to get U to Savanah. It would B wise if U called the 1 800# they can assist U. If U R handicapped they will assist U. Make & pay 4 reservation at least 2 weeks in advance if Ur not handicapped, there is a discount. Hope this was helpful.
Winter Park is generally safe. There is free street parking and a paid multi-level paking garage two blocks away. The Sunrail/Amtrak station also has a free opened parking.

No not at the station. The ticket machines accept card and cash, so they can give change back. There are plenty shops right around the station though so you can probably find an ATM amongst them.

There is no problem with bringing snacks, sandwiches, but don't drop crumbs on the seats and throw away any garbage. The dining car has coffee and sodas and perhaps tea, but I would not assume they would give you hot water for use with your own tea bags. Seats are usually assigned in advance when purchasing at the station or online. There is no way of knowing if children might be nearby. Generally the cars are reasonably quiet. I'm certain you can park your car for free but there might be a limit on number of days. To avoid a fine or possibly towing, it would be best to telephone the Winter Park Station to find out any limits.
No. Winter Park is close to Orlando but is a separate town. It has always been one of the better areas to live, with beautiful historic mansions, some lakefront, and other large luxury homes. The downtown section has upscale shops and restaurants along Park Avenue. Lastly, I think the Winter Park Amtrak and Sunbelt Train Station is one of the most attractive and well-designed smaller train stations anywhere in America.
