I could repeat what everyone says about the amazing chowder and good prices. Instead I'll focus on another facet that makes Galway House great. The waitresses. They are to the point, helpful, and not overbearing. Thanks to the waitstaff.

My boyfriend and I seem to have bigger eyes than stomachs because we ordered like crazy: pizza, seafood entrées which came with a big mug of chowder, bread, and two large sides. And we somehow ordered french fries on top of all that. The pizza was surprisingly delicious and the crust was probably the best part. The cheese seemed to have a habit of sliding off but that might just have been because it was served so hot. The seafood entrées were just OK – the scallops were rather tasteless other than the breading on top. We did enjoy the chowder which was surprisingly thick and creamy, although it was almost devoid of clams. and finally, the fries were delicious. Next time I think we’ll just get a pizza and fries. As an aside, Sage decided to try a Negroni and it was terrible which was not the fault of the restaurant but it’s probably just a terrible drink, period.

I just had the best dinner of my life. Those are scorpion wings(twice as spicy as ghost), I thought it would be inedible, but it was perfect. The Chicken Parm was perfectly cooked and tender. Best Irish pub in Boston!
