Dr. Stein did an excellent job fixing my front teeth. Many dentists told me that my situation was very difficult because the bone had recessed. They told me that the front teeth would be long, but Dr. Stein exceeded my expectations. At one point Dr. Stein wasn't completely happy with how the teeth were completed by the lab and sent them back. I felt like he always had my best interests at heart.

I'm pleased to write about our pleasant and successful experience at Dr. Steins office. From setting up our appointments through Robin, to our comprehensive consultation with Dr. Stein and to the final beautiful results from his work, my two girls ages 17 and 19 are both pleased with the look and feel he's given their teeth. Both girls were born with a gene failure that caused them over 10 missing secondary/permanent teeth each. Dr. Stein's name came to us highly recommended by our excellent pediatric dentist of many years, Dr. Vienna Posada, in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. After our initial visit and consultation Dr. Stein thoughtfully designed specific plans for each child and upon our acceptance we were seen again shortly after. And with just one visit a whole lot was accomplished. Both girls are happy with the results and I'm happy knowing their in good hands should any repairs be needed at any time plus they are certain to have future treatment needs as the roots age and their next level of care and planning will become necessary. Dr. Stein has a deeply respectful and inspiring history that connects him to his career of choice. I sincerely recommend him to anyone in need of his skills.

Dr. Stein he and his son were fabulous. They both took such great care of me while figuring out veneers for my tiny teeth. I can’t suggest them enough.

I have been a patient of Dr. James Stein since June 2021. At that time, having recently moved to Boston after twenty years in a foreign country, I had a number of outstanding dental issues. I am extremely happy with all the dental work that has been performed by Dr. Stein, and I have total confidence in him and his colleagues. The office is very professional, but also welcoming and relaxed. Dr. Stein first arranged for a root canal in an infected upper premolar, then put a crown on the tooth after performing a core buildup with pins. He also replaced a crown on an upper incisor, the previous crown having been drilled through years earlier to allow for a root canal. And then an implant! A first lower molar had twice previously become infected and two root canals had been performed. Dr. Stein extracted the tooth (four roots!), did a bone graft, inserted a screw, and ultimately provided me with a new tooth. My jaw tends to lock during lengthy dental procedures, but I am happy to report that I had no problems in that regard during any of these procedures. Dr. Stein was very careful to allow me moments to let my jaw relax so it didn’t lock up. And last but not least, Dr. Stein replaced some discolored resin on my front teeth. I am definitely smiling more now. Thank you, Dr. Stein!

Wisdom teeth are the third set of molars in the back of your mouth. More often than not, there is not enough room in the jaw for these molars to properly erupt, so they become impacted, meaning they are stuck beneath the gums and/or pushing on the adjacent teeth. Removing impacted wisdom teeth is advisable because they can cause a host of oral complications, including pain, infection, and misalignment.

The cutting-edge CEREC system allows dentists with the proper training to manufacture a custom crown within the office rather than outsource production to an office dental lab. The milling machine can complete your restoration in about an hour or less, a mere fraction of the time it would take the lab. This makes the procedure far more convenient and eliminates the need for temporary crowns, downtime, and follow-up visits. Furthermore, as we oversee every step of the process, we can ensure the finished product is up to our high-quality standards.
