As much as this location is typical cookie cutter Courtyard with standard Courtyard amenities, I really do not care for their food selection as it is very limited and boring for both breakfast and dinner! The rooms are usually pretty comfortable and clean and this one is no different. I must say the service is really great though.

I knew there would be disappointment as I pulled into the parking lot. Building is very old looking comparable to some of the cheaper hotels. The moment we walked into the hotel, there was no immediate greeter or formal check in desk. I felt like I was walking into a hotel in Las Vegas as you basically entered the bar/ cocktail lounge area. We were advised about breakfast hours and was told that breakfast was NOT included in the expensive rate. Hallways and the carpets were very old and frankly disgusting. When walking into our room, it was like what? It felt like I walked into the Brady bunch house. We immediately started researching nearby hotels and decided to drive to one and check it out. Price was better and breakfast was included. We will be going elsewhere for the next three nights while we have our long anniversary weekend. I’ve always trusted the Marriot name, but no longer. Pictures can be deceiving.

We are actually extending our stay while visiting a hospitaized family member. We are extremely pleased with the staff who are very friendly, helpful, considerate, responsive and professional. We stayed here years ago and it was very nice then. The rooms have been nicely updated. The rooms are clean and the couch which opens into a bed is very comfortable and stylish. The location is perfect for us to visit the hospital, family, and enjoy meals at several nearby restaurants. In fact Outback is next door. We have interacted with the staff several times and the interactions have been outstanding in every respect.

Our VB team always stays at The Courtyard Maumee. The staff is friendly and efficient. The rooms, conference room, and lobby are clean. The fitness center is small; however, the hotel has a partnership with a gym next door that guest can use for free.
