Tonight I took my son to the drive in for the first time and he absolutely loved it! 🥰.
It wasn’t too crowed, staff welcomed us in. Everyone seemed to respect the space and each other. We saw too movies, Jurassic Park and Minions.
It was nice to get to watch a sequel of something I used to watch as a kid growing up while going to drive-ins myself.
I would definitely recommend for a family environment

For nearly my entire life this place has been a vital element of a northwest Ohio summer. When I hit high school some 30 years ago and had the ability to drive myself or be driven by friends it was a destination. Each year we would look forward to gathering blankets and pillows to come see a double feature. Waiting in line is even fun! It’s always a JOY. A simple pleasure that should never be taken for granted. I just can’t express how saddened I was by seeing the property put up for sale, and while I understand the business is separate from the property it seems to be a grim future after the 2022 summer season. We all know that real estate tracts are being developed in the area and I can’t see anyone paying a lot for a chunk of land just to lease it out in the summer months. I wish that northwest Ohio had more resources to protect this piece of Americana. The mere thought of losing it breaks my heart, and do we enter this season with hesitation and bittersweet nostalgia. If you’ve ever wondered what it was like, mows the time, once they’re open COME ON IN! You won’t regret it, and it’s better to have loved and lost than never loved at all. Fingers crossed that this summer sees some miracle take place. Looking forward to opening night 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

Food is amazing I made the decision to go to another one last year because they had different movies playing we wamted to see and we got food from there & it was hard. Sumdance is clean and easy to drive through. We just love it we come if not evwry weekend every other. Ticket prices are so affordable & you get 2 movies.
The last weekend of September I believe. They used to stay open throughout October and Trunk Or Treat. Things changed over the past 7 years and especially since COVID😢
This Friday and Saturday another stupid line up. The Lego Ninjago Movie (good) but with IT!!!!! I cannot take my son to that! That is on the big front screen. In the back The Kingsman Full Circle and 47 Meters Down, again. If they put on The Kingsman with The Lego movie I would have went.
Does anyone know anything about the haunted drive in? Is it like a haunted house or do they show a scary movie too?

So it's the drive-ins first time doing the haunted house. They have a concession stand after you go through the haunted house. Plus they are playing old scary Halloween movies on the back of the theater.
Burgers ,dogs, nachos, candy, pickles all concession like food. A bucket of popcorn is 11 but u keep bucket and can refill for 5 or 6 dollars. You can also refill it at the maumee indoor. They have one of those 64 ounce mugs (like speedway) to buy and refill for cheaper.
I know this isn't much help with prices but we love the bucket and refill offer at the maumee indoor without seeing a movie.
Here's our movie lineup for Fri 7/6-Thurs 7/12...Screen 1: Ant Man & the Wasp (PG13) @ 9:45 pm followed by Incredibles 2 (PG) @ Midnight. Screen 2: First Purge (R) @ 9:50 pm followed by Jurassic World Fallen Kingdom (PG13) @ Midnight. Box Office opens daily 8:30 pm
How far in advance is your schedule made up? Looking at taking a youth group July 26 after church activity and wondering if movies will be appropriate.

The drive ins r only opened at night and not during the day after church lets out. U can look them up n google them to see what movies r playing there the week of or the week before at most. They usually play new movies that come out n that u see in tv commercials.
The first week in October that will be getting the process and shutting down the facilities the last showings in 2017 so far are going to be the last weekend in September thank you and enjoy looking forward to 2018
You don't reserve, just has areas by what vehicle you drive, first come first serve, and don't be lick idiots that park big vehicles up close and block others.
