I've worked for Comfort Keepers 2 different times over the last 8 years. They still have the same, great, leadership team and have introduced some amazing, new, office staff. Our caregivers are trained very well and we genuinely care deeply for our clients. I am proud to work with such a great team of people!

Worked for this company. They forced me to stay with a known racist client (with multiple racist figurines on their property). Forced several other co workers with known pet allergies to go with clients who had moderate to severe allergies to them. During training they gave us a brief run down of random things we may encounter with clients. Some of us had prior professional health care / caregiver / aide experience but a majority of people were coming in with zero experience. The training was more of a way to cover themselves to say they taught us how to perform certain things but the trainings were not consistent after speaking to other co workers. I would not recommend this company to care for your parents, your spouse, friend, unless they only need companionship and even then I would not recommend because the hiring process is pretty much whoever applies and seems decent enough, gets the job as they are not very thorough with who they hire. Definitely felt a strong bias from management. Also started cancelling future shifts even if you had a valid reason for needing to cancel one shift -- as well as starting to implementing charing the caregivers for cancelling shifts (Not sure if they committed with that but was there when they first brought it up). They will try to guilt trip you or use vague wording to get you to take on clients that they have difficulties with keeping caregivers on assignment with (how I ended up with the racist clients). I loved the clients I had, I cared for them as I would care for anyone in my family but I recognized that a lot of my clients and their families did not like the high prices / constant rule changes and knew they would start separating ways soon with the company. My recommendation if you can find a better and more affordable option with a better hiring process, consultation / transparent culture opt for them or if you can care for your loved one(s) that is what I would recommend. *awaits their auto generated response -- "genuine concern" response*

Comfort Keepers has many options for care, which are all adaptable to your loved one's needs. A contract is not necessary as needs can change rapidly (from either needing more services or less).
