The staff is great. My husband is in a wheelchair currently. The accessibility is Not good. There is an elevator to the balcony, but no handrail on the stairs. There was no unobstructed view for someone in a chair. No ramp to get a chair to an unobstructed view. We had to carry the wheelchair down to the first row but his view was obstructed by able bodied people. The stairs were not kept clear of people during the show. If there was a fire we would have been screwed. Although the staff was wonderful the venue is not a good one if you are not able bodied.

Have seen several shows here mostly at the Lyric upstairs. Venue has a nice layout, is pretty wide open with lots of room. Bartenders have been friendly and quick getting drinks. Sound quality was better than expected. One of my favorite spots to see a show!

Went here to see Rise Against. Sound system was good. The floor is sloped so it was easy to see the stage even if you are short. Bar was super fast so props to the bartenders. Easy parking right by in a parking garage. Would recommend going to see a show here

This was my first time to attend a concert at the Skyway Theatre -- and I will definitely come back. I saw Eva Under Fire and Theory of a Deadman. The Skyway is a perfect small venue for a concert. I was on the main floor and because this is a former movie theatre the floor slopes up from the stage to the back. The sight lines are great because of this. The acoustics are good and even though we stood toward the back the stage was still quite close. The bar served quickly, drinks were not expensive, and the staff was very helpful. There is also a balcony.

Booze and energy drinks but you can go to marusos next door and get food
B is second floor .Radison is a block and a half or so away
Mikey mike and big Henri. But then, that's on their site the poster and the event page. So...
It’s typically 18+ and rarely ever 21+ but it says on the ticket page what the age restriction is for each show on SkywayTheatre.com when you click on the specific show to buy your tickets.
Yes, and if the show isn't sold out, you can even buy them at the venue.
Nope policy unless you snuck him in or fake I.D. ha
Normally openers start within 30 minutes of doors opening
Yep just need your barcode included. I've done it plenty of times just make sure they can read the ticket via brightness.
Wait outside
I believe so
Yeah you can but you'll need to go to the atm if you don't have cash, they have one inside.
Yes, at the glass doors!
In the theater at skyway theres sitting areas on the balcony and in the loft they have couches and chairs to sit on.
VIP is reserved
They will likely check ID, yes.
Ive been to the skyway theatre many times. At the usual show times in the evening, look for the outdoor parking lot on hennepin, between 8th and 9th street, facing northwest. Its right next to "infinity smokes" store, so look for that on the maps. The parking is around $5. From there, the walk to the theatre is one block up hennepin.
Call the box office. If it was turned into the bar, they will have it there
Make sure you have an actual photo ID to go with the papers . The yellow papers just gives proof that you turned 18. The photo ID gives them proof that its you
I would recommend contacting the venue directly. Your local guides won't know the answer to this.
It's a typo it means pier 2
Your best bet is to call and ask because I am honestly not sure
They never check my ID
There is a $15 minimum at the bar for credit cards. Tickets are cash only. There is a cash machine in there also.
Skyway Theater is on the second floor
The Loft has an elevator to it and the floor is flat, but the Skyway Theatre itself has lots of stairs and terracing and the main floor is sloped. So probably not great.
They usually have the ages posted on their show list. I'd check individual shows but all the ones I've seen have been 21+.
No, my boyfriend works there and there is NO mask mandates or vaccination verification either. But you are more than welcome to wear one if you are concerned for your health.
