Kind staff Nice lobby area Foul odor at entry way of hotel Shower did not drain Rooms dirty and outdated I had a live cockroach in my room on my door as I was walking out. So I checked my bags over and checked out. The internet speeds are slow. The fire alarm system went off 3 times during my stay without anyone saying anything about it. It is a very busy hotel and needs to be modernized for how much they are charging a night. Overall I won’t be back because of the 6th and last item alone.

Room 316 The good: Very pleasant service! The guy who checked us in could not have been more friendly. Breakfast was delicious and the bed and towels were fresh and clean. The bad: Cabinets didn’t shut, painted surfaces in the room were sticky, the carpet was sticky, it was humid and damp and no amount of AC fixed that. The ugly: Everything was old and outdated. The couches in the room were filthy. The wallpaper was peeling and above the fire detector systems it was either moldy or dusty. The shower was dirty looking and the ceiling above the shower was clearly moldy with a thin coat of white covering it. On the shampoo caddy there was 1/8 inch of black gelatinous mold on the surface where the bottles rest. The shower curtain smelled like it was forgotten in the washing machine for days.

My family and I had a terrible experience and I stay at a lot of Holiday Inn hotels. I travel 1- 2 weeks a month and always stay at Holiday Inn. I reserved a room that had 2 double beds and a pull out sleeper sofa to accommodate my 6 person family. When I asked for additional bedding for the sleeper sofa, we were given a single blanket and the attendant did not want to give us that at all. We asked for sheets as well but did not receive any. The next morning breakfast was good with options. After breakfast we went swimming in the indoor pool, but could not be in it for an extended period because the chlorine content was incredibly high. Then we all went to shower . . . The room had NO HOT WATER. I asked the customer service representative if the there was a hot water issue and the representative responded with: "Your room has a known hot water issue. If you complain enough we may give you another room." How absurd! Since when is hot water not an expectation of a functioning hotel room and why should I be required to "complain enough" to get that corrected??? Especially since the temperature outside was 15 degrees. No effort was made to correct the issue, and we all took less than lukewarm showers. If I didn't know that Holiday Inn had better standards, I would never stay at another one again.

I don't think they have a meeting room that big I got nice indoor pool though
Weekly yes
That's a long drive. You probably need to call an Uber.
No. Hotel pools are reserved for paying guests staying at the hotel.
I don't think so I'd have to ask my daughter she works there but the pool is closed for remodeling. I just checked with her she said no because people abuse it so they don't do it
Been in many HIEs and haven't seen a recliner yet.
