The tour of the house was fantastic!

Beautiful house that served as headquarters in Washington, then where the poet Longfellows lived. Visit the interior if you can.

There are meters on the street or you can park in a paid lot/garage in Harvard square and walk. Note that the unmetered parking on the street is resident only.
Unfortunately, at the moment the home is closed for entry. However, visitors are allowed to roam the outside of the home and the gardens.
Hi Anthony! Check out our website for information on the research we're doing on those who were enslaved on the property in the 1700s: https://www.nps.gov/long/learn/historyculture/stories.htm
It is well worth the visit!
