Found this gem while looking for a campground on our way to SD. Very small city park (I think 14 sites.) Some with water and electric hookups, some with just electric and others a place to park for the night. It's an easy exit from KS state route 81, shaded level sites but best of all the cost is "by donation". It is first come first served so no reservation. There is a Walmart very close by. The only negative is the traffic noise. With the AC on at night it should be no problem. If you travel with dogs there is a large dog park about 500 feet away.

This is a great campground!! Clean bathrooms. And free wifi!! Beautiful little trails. Also has a dog park and outlets and grills in curtain areas.

5 days or less, pay by donation only, no permit required. Over 5 days you need a permit (still a pretty good deal).
There are both 50 on the south row and 30 in the middle and North rows
Donation. We left $15 per night, in line with many city parks we've stayed in. Nice park.
It has wifi from 6am to midnight.
