for a long drive and right of the Taconic being a busy high way it has many trails. I will say if your like me and not an expert its tough riding. steep inclines for some hills and very rocky terrain but you can ride it. a good work out with all means. best way is to just follow the red circle marks on the trees some other trails in the woods are harder and not sure where they go

No. Went through several years back on my klr but wasn't supposed to.
No. There is a service road that you would need a truck to drive down. All the rest of the trials are walking through the woods. Mountain bikes work as well
I beleive overnight camping is allowed for a couple of days without permit.. but parking and camping are in designated areas
