The place as a whole..... honestly I have no complaints. When Jennifer was here she always followed up and went extra mile to help. I’ve yet to have the pleasure of meeting new staff for our property. But I just want to give a shout-out to the gentleman on call for maintenance today. I’m aware he isn’t our main property maintenance tech but he happen to be on call for the properties when our air conditioning went out. His name is Edwin and I hope this gets back to his management in some way shape or form and that he is honored in some way. He was very kind. Very quick to respond to our issue with our AC... Richmond Sig is lucky to have him.

I lived at these apartments for 2 years and genuinely loved them. Some neighbors are noisy but that’s not anyone’s fault but the neighbors. Ultimately though there isn’t anything I can complain about. Maintenance requests were always completed in a timely manner, the pool is beautiful, and Jennifer in the office is AMAZING. She never hesitated to help in anyway possible and fixed any issues my room mates and I ever had. She was kind and polite every time we spoke and I truly think without her that property would fall apart.

If I could give zero stars, I would. Where do I begin? I guess I will begin with the most recent of issues which is mold and dust covering my AC unit, the closet it is housed in, coming out of every AC vent, discoloring my bedding and the carpeting and making m extremely sick for over 6 months. In trying to figure out why I was so congested some months ago, I called management and asked if I could remove the blinds as they were collecting so much dust. I wanted to hang currents instead. I was given the memorized Richmond property response that management only knows how to spew which was I can’t remove the blinds because the building needs to look uniform aesthetically from the outside. And I was told to “buy a bottle of Pledge”. If management had even taken a moment, my apartment is rear facing to trees and a fence, so taking down the blinds would not have been an issue. Subsequently, I. Trying to figure where all the dust was coming from, I was changing my AC filter and found dust and mold covering the unit and the closet it’s housed in. I have photos and video. You would be appalled if you saw what I was living in. It was no wonder I was sick. I clean myself weekly and hire a cleaning person to deep clean once a month, who also had mentioned months ago the unusual amount of dust. I bought a bissell carpet cleaner to clean the carpets as the black dust was imbedded around the perimeter of the carpeting. My bedding had to be dry cleaned and is still imbedded with grey color ( bedding is white). When the maintenance tech came to look at the AC unit, I asked him if the black dust/mold was common. He said yes. I asked, have you ever seen anything this bad? He said no. I also asked if The Amalfi services the AC units once a year. He said no, we only come if a tenant complains. Fast forward to a service that came to clean The AC unit and clean the ducts. They were very nice and while one serviceman was trying to cover up the mold, the other was saying yes it’s mold. Had management taken any small amount of time, they would have looked at the service record to find out there was water leaking from this unit 4 years ago and I’m sure not properly repaired and that’s where the mold is coming from. But no, I was treated with indignance. Not days later my ice maker broke. I came home from work and water all over. Took me a little bit to figure out where the water was coming from. Called the leasing office at 5:55 pm and no answer. Was up all night emptying the water as it was filling up at 45 minute intervals. Lost a nights sleep, time from work and $500 in food. Next day called. No apology. Sent technician over to did one t ice maker. Called management to see if I could get out of the lease due to the black dust/mold issue fire my health. Was told no, started spewing company policy again. Explained this was a special circumstance for my health. Was told no again. Mentioned I would have to get my attorney involved and was told since I mentioned the word attorney, she can’t talk to me anymore!!! So here I sit, in an unsafe and unhealthy apartment because of a management that doesn’t care. Let me give The Amalfi a bit of advice: people are humans, not robots. Everyone’s situation and circumstance is different. Try a little empathy and sincere care and concern for your residents. It will go a long long way. To follow up, I have now taken this situation to the regional manager. Let’s see what happens...

Questions & Answers

Calling Clearwater water dept. In the a.m. There was a main water leak our new water bill is up $40. Want to know where our water meter is located. Another tenant said her Bill is up $42. We don't even drink water in our apartment. Drink bottled h20

I believe their billing system is generated by percentage not individually. Meaning if apartment A uses 30 gallons in a week and apartment B uses 15 gallons in a week the amount is divided between the two apartments getting an average. In my opinion I shouldn't be charged for someone else's water usage. Charge me for what I use only. This has been an issue since I moved here 2 years ago. I travel a lot so my water bill should be very low and even if I didn't travel because I live by myself. I like the area but The Amalfi owners Richmond properties makes their rules randomly and you can never get a straight answer from their staff they change employees more then the temperature changes unbelievable

Why wont you answer your phone in Tampa. Can't wait to move. You haven't put your paylease on for residents to pay rent. We will drive to Tampa to talk in person.
