Great place for and afternoon stroll the trails are mostly paved and the village very interesting

The park is beautiful, the Pioneer Village makes for some nice pictures. But the main walking trails have no shadow and no water. There are a few little trails (probably made by hikers) inside the woods that are much nicer, but they don't go all around. I seriously think they should work on the nature trails to make them go around the area.

Yes. Babb Landings launch is a bit of a walk from the parking area though. I would suggest crossing the street to Steffee Landing to get easier access to the creek.
I'd like to have my sons birthday party there but I don't wanna risk it. I might have to just go early and tape off the area lol. Thanks for the reply
In the river there's some largemouth bass bluegill it's a lot of places to catch bass and that Ripple catfish that report for a long time I caught digging bass and small Bass it's a great place to take bring a canoe okay Yak & to go fishing there you will catch some bass when you go there it's all depends on how good you are for bass fishing.
