My old credit union merged with LRRCU and have been a member 12 years. However, I've had nothing but problems every time I need a new debit card. 1st of all they charge you $5 since card cracked. All the other cards in my wallet I have no …

I have been a member at LRRCU for about 5 years now. I will say when I first joined it was ok. Now I recommend this place. I think Management has done great things and it shows. I have been in the office and had the manager come out and help customers, so they didn't have to wait. KUDOS People answer the phone and are able to help you when you call. If you are looking for a new bank check out Red Rose Credit Union.

Hi, I have been using them for years. This place is great if you just follow this advice: 1) just show up at the New Holland Avenue location, it's not that far away everyone! Their customer service is always excellent anytime I come in. I have not ever had any problem getting them on the phone, but if you are - why isn't anyone just driving over to the New Holland office and talking to someone in person? Especially if you are getting a car loan, the extra thousands of dollars savings for your car loan is worth it (see more notes on that below) 2) Start the vehicle loan application process early before you start your search - why are these reviewers waiting till the last minute? I always knew that I needed to have car insurance ready to activate before starting my car hunt, and to have the loan process started before I look for a vehicle. If you wait until the day you are at the dealership to start the process of course it is not going to just take an hour to get the entire thing processed when you have never physically shown up at the bank before your car search to get the process started. You need to physically go in, talk to someone, sit down, sign and get the paperwork prepared, write down your personal loan officer's extension and when they will be in, then go to car dealerships. I have had four vehicle loans with Red Rose Credit Union and the most recent one was LESS than 3% interest. I took out a 7,000 car loan and am only paying around $400 or so dollars in interest in the ENTIRE life of the loan. Compare that to the "fast" dealerships 25% interest compounded monthly. I will take the several thousand extra dollars in my pocketbook thank you with having to go by the office in person a couple days early as compared to paying a couple extra thousand for instant turn around at the dealership. Take your pick. This doesn't mean you will get my rates because I have a very good credit score, but for me, my monthly payment is only $154 a month for that $7,000 car loan and almost all my monthly payment goes to the principle balance so the loan goes down by approx the amount I pay every time I make a payment. 3) I really like their phone app, I use it all the time. 4) With a credit union as a member you have shares in the company, or that is how I understand it. 5) At times I have used other banks as an adjunt to RRCU, but I have never closed my account there. They have been super competant, flexible, and caring throughout the more than a decade I have been using them. 6) When I was a server and bringing in large volumes of cash they never made me feel like a burden. I cannot say that of my other bank. 7) At the approx time I write this, they have a computer in the New Holland Ave branch that you can use for bank related needs while you are there. 8) The drive through has always been fast and competant (I use the New Holland Ave location). I also had good experiences with the location in the government building downtown. 9) Honestly, I have never had any problem getting someone on the phone, every time I remember calling someone answered right away so I don't know what they are talking about with that. Are people calling the New Holland location when they call? Because the one downtown in the government building is a tiny auxillary office which only has one (very competant, but still only one) person anytime I have gone by.
