Great place to camp, and not far away from the beach.

Over all not a bad place. First the good: Staff is friendly and helpful. The pool area is nice and well maintained. Beautiful large pool with plenty of seating. There could be more shade but it worked great for us. The location is good. Its only 5 miles or so to the beach. We went to Smyrna Dunes park almost every day. You will need a car to get there if you don't want to break camp every day. Now the somewhat negative. The roads are just sand and very bumpy. Your rig will sway left and right and some areas the path is really narrow. So you have to be a good driver to not nick your RV on tree branches. Also turning on some so called drive through sites is impossible with anything of size. So be aware of that. The sites are sand and dirt. Your will track it everywhere. The streets have deep puddles of water and that part of the park maintenance leaves much to be desired. A layer of Gravel or Road base would remedy that so Management should consider that in future upgrades to the park. When I booked it they told me about a ten year rule that is supposedly in place. But that is a ridiculous notion as some of their rigs in there are at least 30 years old. Half seem full time residents and about a third of all units are solid installed park model trailers with porches and sheds and other side buildings. It resembles a mobile home park with some transient sites. Our stay was enjoyable despite some obvious shortcomings and we will consider returning. The value for the money they charge is OK and considering the location with the proximity to the beach its a worthwhile destination. Expect low key relaxed atmosphere and bring your broom to keep the sand in check.

The flora and the fana here make my strolls through the park delightful.

Hi Anthony, our nightly rate for a 30 amp site is 39.95 + tax and 45.95 + Tax for a 50 amp site.
Yes we do allow campfires at the park but they have to be raised off of the ground in a fire pit.

You could bike there, your with in 5 or 6 miles to the beach but keep in mind you will have to go over a high bridge, I would drive then bike around town and the beach. Hope this helps there is a great Ice Cream software down going to the bridge about 2 miles on the right its called Tasty, and the building looks like a giant Ice Cream Cone. By the little mall
You will have to call and they can help you.
It varies ,it's cheaper in off season..I paid 120 or 220 per week I was there..Also call ahead to see about availability, They have repeats every year & they give them to them first..It's a beautiful well kept place.
My family & I camped here with our 50amp Motorhome for the 1st time last summer for 10 days during the 4th of July week, and it was wonderful!! The campground even had a 4th of July party in the pool area with food & games for everyone in the family! They had ticket Raffles with some really great prizes for adults, and a token toss game in the pool for the kids with candy as a prize for them as well! It's a really relaxing place, and there is a variety of places near by in the local area for shopping as well. Now, their rates are slightly different "in-season" & "Off-season". Right now it's "in-season". So for a 50amp monthly it's $525 for 2 people, extra guest are $5 more each, but kids 12 & under stay free. They also require a $100 deposit for monthly, which will be included as part of your $525 monthly charge. Check-in time is @ 2pm, check-out @ 12pm. The deposit will be forfeited if the reservation is not canceled within 72hrs. Hope this helps!!
Bring your own linens & dishes, they have coffee maker & microwave. . Bbq grill outside. The cabins are clean. . The website gives you the details.

I think you need to call the office to book
The campground has controlled access for the entire Campground which is very nice to keep out people that are not guest that may have less than appropriate intentions.
So for 6 people it's $100/night? Motels can be cheaper.
