Magnolia Place Bed & Breakfast

This is my 4th year coming back to stay at Magnolia Place. It is the perfect spot for a weekend getaway. The B&B is in a great location on the Lake, close to Watkins Glen, wineries, and waterfall trails. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the wrap around porch with rocking chairs provides a great way to relax in between. The real highlight of staying here is the incredible breakfast served each morning by the wonderful Inn Keepers, Ron & Kathryn. The breakfast is almost Tapas style - small portions of several different breakfast items, all delicious and beautifully presented. Ron is very accommodating with dietary restrictions and makes sure everyone is taken care of.

Our visit to Magnolia Place was gifted to us by our daughter and son-in-law. They also had stayed at Magnolia Place and wanted to share the wonderful experience with us. And, it truly was wonderful. We had the Lilac Suite which was decorated so beautifully. Everything was in place for a relaxing and comfortable stay. Watching the sunset over the lake was memorable. One of the highlights was breakfast. So delicious and unique. Ron, Kate and Lexi couldn't have been more welcoming. We look forward to our next visit.

Just returned from a Finger Lakes Wine/Brewery Tour this weekend. We selected Magnolia Place just by chance and just wanted to try a bed and breakfast for a change. Wow, are we glad we did. The owners, Ron, Kathryn and Lexi (their dog) are amazing. Ron's breakfasts are gourmet, i guarantee, they won't disappoint! High class all the way. Kathryn's knowledge of the surrounding area and recommendations absolutely nailed it for us. The rooms are clean, friendly and the house has anything that you may need. Views absolutely amazing as well! This is a quiet, peaceful place, which was perfect for us after a day of wine touring. We Highly recommend Magnolia Place and we definitely look forward to visiting again! Thank you Ron, Kathryn and Lexi for an amazing experience! The Benders

My husband and I stayed at Magnolia Place for a short getaway trip, and it was absolutely lovely! Our room was spacious and well decorated, and I appreciated all of the little touches to make it feel more comfortable. The little bars of soap for the bathroom smelled so good! Our breakfast was amazing. The dining room overlooks part of the lake, so we had a great view while we enjoyed our muffins, fruit cups, eggs, and lemon ricotta pancakes. Ron also had local grape juice as an option, which my husband and I both enjoyed trying. The bed and breakfast is in a really great location in the Finger Lakes. There are plenty of wineries and restaurants within 5-10 minutes, but what really worked well for us is that we were able to drive 30-40 minutes and visit Corning, Ithaca, and Geneva as well. There is a lot to do even in the winter, and we are already hoping to make another trip to do some of the things that we missed or couldn't do in the winter. We can't recommend Magnolia Place enough, and we are looking forward to staying at Magnolia Place hopefully some day soon!
