On 8/20/21 I providing housing to one of NHH members. After 3 months of rent support by NHH they believe the tenant could be on his own. Unfortunately, trusting NHH was a mistake today Jan 8th, 2022 I went to do the first inspection of the unit with the tenant and it was in a discus ting conditions. It seems an animal lives there. Unit was filthy, even the walls were filthy with marks, the hardwood floors had 1/2 inch of dirt. The guy who is delinquent in rent said the cleaning lady has not come. I believe NHH should follow up on their tenants at least 6 months after relocating. Landlords are suffering because of NHH lack of support in following thru in assisting landlords. No psych evaluation done to make sure their customers are fit to move forward. I have a hefty lawyer expenses now to get this person out of my unit. I wouldn’t recommend helping this organization with housing.

I've brought several towel donations to New Hope Housing over the last few months and the people who work here are very nice. It's great knowing that your donations (especially towels and toiletries) are going right back into the local community to help families in shelters or in transitional housing. I highly recommend donating to this organization.

I worked at Baileys Crossroad Community Shelter. Which new hope housing took over and they just let me go to day for telling my manager I would not do something which I did any ways. For not reporting rumors. For my supervisor pass information to people and they telling me wrong. And for not cleaning the kitchen when we were told it was not our job. So I will be doing my best to report the management of funds and food at this shelter. I worked here because I enjoyed it. I have a full time that pays me well, I did not need the money but it was nice to have extra cash so I am not upset about loosing my job. Just how this shelter is ran. Which is piss poor.......And I was not paid for all my time I worked someone comes in late you had to stay for free.

New Hope Housing provides services to people experiencing homelessness. They welcome the unwelcome and ensure that everyone has a safe and comfortable place to live. They work tirelessly to find homes for people and not just a roof over their head.
