Alot of the staff, supervisors, and security guards there are unprofessional, liers, and just rude and evil. I use't to live there, and submitted well over twenty service recipient Grievance forms against various staff, supervisors, and residents due to the on-going unprofessionalism by the staff, and supervisors, unsanitary conditions, infacility drug use, and so much more, to which, majority of my complaints were neglected, and discarded by the staff, &/or supervisors. They then lied on me by saying that was stalking two of the female staff there, which they used to issue a Notice Of Transfer against me in order to kick me out of the shelter so that I wouldn't be able to submitted any more complaints against them for their ongoing unconstitutional violations, actions/inactions, to which lawyers submitted an appeal of their Notice of transfer on my behalf to the Administrative hearings court, to which the Administrative hearing judge ruled in my favor, that my side of the story was more believable, and that the Notice of transfer issued against me was not warranted. The said Judge ordered Catholic Charities foundation to retract from their records, the lie they told on me. Now I'm fighting them in court with a civil action lawsuit for Defamation, Negligence, Retaliation, violation of the Homeless Services reform act, and intentional infliction of emotional distress. Anyone know any good lawyers willing to take my case on and represent me on a contingency fee basis?("get paid once we win"). I have a substantial. Amount of evidence to prove my claims.

To get a bed and keep it you try to be in here by 5pm and you have to leave by 9am everyday except when it's below 40 degrees. if you want to know more go to the web site www.cathlic charities.org
Check in starts at 5p, if they run out beds, you'll have to go to another shelter. If beds are still available, the latest time to check in, is 9:55p
How late will they let you check in? I'm new to DC area and first time?
Its a 10pm curfew on weekdays weekends curfew is 11pm
They do. When you drop them off at the front desk, the staff looks through the stuff, takes home the best stuff and gives the stuff they don't want away to the homeless men there or throw it away.
