The staff were very friendly and they did very good with my mom. The only thing that I felt needed improvement was with communication. I didn't get many phone call updates for when I was unable to visit my mom for a few days. However, when I spoke directly with staff at the hospital they were happy to answer any questions or concerns I may have had.

I just want to take a moment and say how extraordinary this place is!! They truly strive for excellence in the care of not only the patient but their family members as well. A HUGE shoutout to Ellen from rehab! This woman is an angel and and we were so very blessed to work with her. Also Helena was amazing and Erika as well. These gals are top notch!! Ricky was our favorite nurse, great guy!! Greg the pulmonologist is so patient and takes his time in great with communication. The staff is more like a family and in a way they make you feel a part of that. My dad is a very difficult patient but they rose to the occasion multiple times. They are very clean as well but more laid back than a regular hospital and you feel that even with the security guards up front!! If you are like me a month ago deciding if your loved one should go here, give them i chance, you won’t be disappointed. I’m so grateful that I did!!

The nurses are great and very kind. Always took care of my father-in-law. My issue is the case manager. She told us multiple times that no rehab in three county’s would take his insurance. She gave a list of rehabs that had his insurance listed and as we were looking at them and getting ready to make calls , she had called and said that rehab and insurance had accepted him to go. It was an hour from home which isn’t a big deal , just had no idea about this rehab and didn’t have time to tour it before he got there but found out it’s basically a nursing home and he’s not receiving barely any therapy, she told us he would getting three hours a day. He gets maybe 2hours a week! She knew what he was diagnosed with so I don’t understand why she would send him to a place like this. I found so many rehabs that in fact do take his insurance that are so close to home too and many have said they didn’t even receive a consult for him! This case manager has now made my father-in-law get moved another time and now it’s going to be longer for him to get home. Don’t know if this place and the rehab he was sent to are connected but don’t send someone to place that isn’t going to help them one bit. Send them to place that is going to get that person better even if it takes a little more. It’s your job, you signed up for that when you accepted that job.
