The Children’s Library section staff are very friendly and as expected “child-focused”. Especially the interactive narrators of the children’s story time, are real performers

I was recently forced into homelessness and continue to be because of a toxic family situation. This library is clean, has ample seating areas, and good internet connection - a sanctuary for me during this horrible chapter in life. The staff are great and security is always ready to handle any unruly persons who disrespect the space for others. Great public library!

The Reston Regional Library has fabulous programs for children to enhance their reading, math and social skills. A great place to spend a Saturday with your little one(s)!

Yes, and the speed is good for browsing the internet. I haven't tried downloading huge files or streaming videos so I'm not sure about just how fast it is.
If you are driving and its PM Rush Hour like 3:30 to about 6:30 or 7 pm it could take 30 to 35 minutes... Also depends what part of Fairfax u are coming from.. The time I gave is from near the Fairfax County Courthouse.
Good Morning Evea, thank you for reaching out to us regarding donations. The Reston Library is currently accepting donations of up to boxes a day. Boxes of donations can be dropped off on the cart next to our curbside pickup located located in the side staff parking lot. Thanks!
Yes, you are allowed to borrow books. You need to have a mask on.
From the Fairfax public library site: Meeting rooms will continue to be unavailable as the spaces are housing furniture removed from the public floor as well as quarantined library materials.
Hello, Thanks for your question. The Reston Library has many English classes to help you learn English. You can see them all at this website: https://librarycalendar.fairfaxcounty.gov/calendar?cid=6524&t=d&d=0000-00-00&cal=6524&audience=2189&cm=3453 You can come to the library also and we can show you the schedule of classes and where they meet. They are free and you do not have to register. Come when you can. We also have one to one practice sessions that you do register for. You can practice speaking to a person. If you have more questions come to the library or call the library: 703-689-2700. Thank you.
Yes they have about a dozen cubicles in a quiet room.
It sounds like you want to make a very generous donation of your uncle's videos and cds. But public libraries, such as Reston library, probably do not have space to store your uncle's videos and cds, or anybody's relatives' collections. To find out all you need to do is call them. But a university theater department or university library might want your uncle's collection. Again, all you have to do is make some calls to find out. You must also decide if you would allow your uncle's collection to be sold once you donate it. You might want to have the money or share it among your relatives or loved ones instead of giving it to a public institution, no matter how deserving the institution may be.
