I just left your office. It's sad you don't have anyone in the Lobby to find out what clients needs are. I currently receive benefits and all I needed was a name change. I sat for over an hour and couldn't get general information. I'm handicapped and can't sit for long periods of time. I left after 3pm with no help. It's sad that you can't get help at a Government agency!! Please DHS!!

If I could do 0 stars I would...phone system is horrible...I've stayed on hold well over 50 minutes and no one picked up. Whether it's the 800# or local, NO ONE ANSWERS. SAD

They will help you at the Belcrest bldg Call and set up an appointment They may help you on the phone if you need help.
It's wise to look things up online and if you can't find an answer make an appointment to be seen and answered.
They are so bad in answering phone. It is always better to visit the office if possible.
If possible, you can go to the office as soon as they open at 8 am for the appointment. Just be sure to bring your documents like ID, Birth Certificate, Pay stubs, etc... if you have them. I was told to come within 30 days of the appointment date even if its not the designated day and time listed on the letter. That was for food stamps.
There is no good number for them you have to go to the office and the Internet don't work and they don't see clients on Friday. Good luck try to have all your proof so it won't hold you up from getting help

The best option is to go and submit the papers youself and get a receipt, otherwise the drlivery is doubtful.
