Long waits people. Especially if you come in without an appointment.

Satisfied, I am very grateful for the work of the lady who attended me, Anelly, very attentive.

Our most recent trip to the Bonita Springs Lee County DMV on 9/8/22 was, by far, the most pleasant and least stressful experience. We were greeted by and sat at the customer service window of DMV representative Lisa, who walked us through our rather complicated transaction with complete competence & ease. She thoroughly explained each step necessary to complete a vehicle title transfer and printed out the associated paperwork for this transaction. Her knowledge and professionalism was very much appreciated, especially, considering the stress sometimes associated with such visits ~ Lisa is an asset to the Lee County DMV, and, we anticipate our future visits will be more of the same, a very positive experience.

Why was it closed in the first place?
No appointment needed
It is not required, but I would advise it. Waits without an appointment can be up to three hours.
Hi. If you need to obtain a renewal (new yellow sticker), a family member can complete this process if they are presenting either the prior registration, statement signed by the owner authorizing the renewal with a copy of their ID, or valid power of attorney. Most registration renewals may also be processed online or at one of our Publix kiosks. If you need to transfer a title and/or registration or obtain a new license plate on behalf of someone else, a valid power of attorney is required. You can get that form here: https://www.flhsmv.gov/pdf/forms/82053.pdf A copy of the owner’s ID will also be required.
I called the Lee County Tax collectors office and was able to do that online. They send you a link via email. 😊
Make sure you get the title, if you have a lien holder request it to be sent to your local tax collector. You can always stop by the tax collector and get all the information from them, or call them.
Online at LeeTC.com Look for appointments then look for Bonita Springs location
