Love the floor plan, loved our sales agent Joe. But we're extremely disappointed in the quality of our home. I've waited 3 months to write this review in case KB decided to fix the issues...but here we are. The drywall was poorly done as there are visible seams everywhere throughout the home. The paint in the entire house looks awful as it appears to have been painted with two different sheens of the same color of paint. The upgraded kitchen cabinets have a poor paint job, many dings, and a couple of the doors are crooked. The upgraded baseboards show many defects. The master shower was started with one size and color of tile and finished with a different one. Some doors don't latch correctly because they weren't mounted correctly...just to name a few items. We have worked extensively with Isabeau to get these fixed, and NONE of them have been remedied. We have had painters come over to do "touch up paint" a few times, and each time they realize the entire house needs repainted. So we're told they'll need to come back. Well, it's been 3 months since we moved in and it still isn't fixed. We did have one repair man come and put drywall texture in a few places it was missing in our house...but nobody fixed the paint so I have big white texture spots in a few places. Overall, the experience has been awful, and I'm embarrassed to have spent so much money building a brand new house that lacks so much in quality. If you're considering building here, don't. If you're already committed and haven't had your design appointment yet, don't upgrade anything that isn't structural. The contractors do terrible work, and most things can be added on your own, at a higher quality for a better price. Take that 1989 floorplan from the website and build it with literally anyone else to save yourself a lot of headache.

I initially worked with a different representative of KB early during the new build. Debbie Jewel was heaven sent as she was to replace the outgoing staff member. Her communication was second to none, she sent weekly photos and updates of my new build. On days when she was not at the office, Debbie still welcomed any questions I may have had. Debbie is that rare professional with real old school values. She knows how important purchasing a home is, and the overwhelming feelings a buyer will experience. Debbie Jewel is literally a hidden gem. Unlike many other businesses (even home buying), Debbie takes pride in her profession, she can be trusted, and genuinely cares about people. She is that rare gem! My family is fortunate to have her now and after closing on my KB home, still feel comfortable reaching out to her for home related questions.
