Owners attitude is one of a “Karen”. I originally started supporting 1748 bakehouse because of how friendly the lady at the arts market was. My daughter and I went to do our usual yoga and then Focaccia bread but unfortunately the lady wasn’t there. We decided to check out the store front (sketchy sketchy sketchy side of town) and I asked the owner 2 questions in which she responded in the RUDEST tone I couldn’t believe that an owner would talk to her supporters that way. As a small business owner myself I know the value in my customers and supporters and was blown completely away by this “Karen” of a human being. Not only will this Saturday tradition no longer include this business but as well as the thousands of dollars my business sends here for our breakfast/lunches / and holiday pies. I don’t like, support or encourage anyone to support rude people. To the lady at the farmers market , YOU should be the owner as your energy and smile is one that pierces the soul and radiates hope for humanity and to the owner , take this as constructive criticism, stay in the back and bake because your energy / vibe/ attitude/ presence is a real buzz kill and makes people not like your food by not liking the way the person treated you.
