Picnic area was quiet. Good place to sit with my canine pals and reflect... Very well maintained park. Plenty of campsites available off season.

They have awesome day activities but the campgrounds are crowded and a mess. The employees in the gate house has little knowledge of the grounds paid 8 dollars for wood to drive to the maintenance shed to learn they don't keep it covered …

It was a great experience! The park was clean and well kept. My family had a wonderful time and enjoyed our time here at Scales Lake.

They have a combo on the gate. They should of gave the number to you. Look at your paperwork. A last month it was 1983. But they may have changed it
Not sure about rates but you can stay as long as you pay.
Scales Lake Park has 50amp Electricity and Water hookup sites available. When we were there in late June 2018, we had no problems with Electricity or Water. They have Dump stations for waste tank. Sites were gravel and muddy.
It is about 15 or 20 minutes from Alcoa. They have very reasonable rates. I'm over 50, so i can get a years pass for like $ 15!
Yes

If you go by the gate, yes but its only like 50 cents. If you just head to the trail head behind the baseball diamond, no.
Catfishing is good as long as you're using live bait or chunk bait
Adam, read your question to yourself. And if you can figure out the question you are asking, you have the answer.

If it is bought in Indiana and you might have to be able to prove it.
There are two camping areas, primitive which the park will close at some point as the weather dictates. And sites with electric and water hookup. I hope this is helpful.
If I recall correctly it is 2$/car per day and 25$ for a primitive camp site if you are camping but you can call them too they are super helpful.
