I live in the local area and I needed a private space to have an interview for a job. I asked the staff if I could possibly use the auditorium for the interview since it was not occupied. He gave me a long story about paperwork to reserve it. There are libraries in Orange and Brevard county that have rooms available private study and possibly for a person to be interviewed. Can the library try to be more helpful to the community.

Ve Laine | Sep 18, 2021
Info VolusiaLibrary | Sep 18, 2021

Hi Ve Laine. Thanks for checking in. Debary Library has not resumed storytimes at our branch. We do offer children's Lit Kits and grab-and-go activities. We'll also be starting our summer reading program in June which will also include some limited pop-up activities. The nearby Deltona Regional Library is offering outdoor storytimes on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 10:30am in the amphitheater. Deland Regional Library is also offering outdoor storytimes on Wednesdays at 10:30am. You can find a livestreamed storytime on our Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/volusialibrary) each Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday morning at 10:30am.
