I am certainly not an expert skater, but based on the times I've been there with the kids, the skate park is more than adequate. Finding the pro skater, that would be up to you. There have been some good skaters there who might be willing to help.
You can try to ride one but you may be asked to leave and might get some weird looks. Just remember to let skaters/scooterers to go first so you don't get ran into. I wouldn't ride one of your "balance/hover boards" though because it could danger others and you and isn't meant for a skate park.
