Terrible customer service, they don't communicate prices, they keep trying to get you to add on services and it seems crazy that they charge me for the exam even though i bought my glasses and contacts from them. When i went to pick everything up and they told me the final price inwas astonished. When i said that that was way to much all they did was read the things they did off the computer then they just stared at me waiting to pay. They offered no solution for the issue. I'll never go back there. STAY AWAY!!!!

This place takes entirely too long to service you.I have to wait a hour or more every time I come here. They should be able to make adjustments to your glasses without making you wait over a hour or more. They should have someone on standby for somethings that will only take maybe a few minutes. The can show more consideration when it comes to people time. 🙏

Today I spoke with Ms. Britney store manager and she very kindly agreed to make the corresponding refund of the sunglasses that I had bought last Monday, July 18 and for which other people had told me that they did not it could. Thank you very much Ms. Britney that is the customer service that we consumers deserve.

I have searched for a place that my son would be treated decently. We finally found this with Optical Outlets in Gainesville, FL. The Dr. was great! My son is not hard to deal with but is nervous with eye exams, and will mumble. He’s high functioning, autism. We both had eye exams, returned to pick up glasses. The staff is friendly and helpful. Veronica was such a help! I highly recommend this location. I intend to take my other children to this location as well.

It’s essential to remember to bring your current eyeglasses or contact lenses prescription to your visit. If you also wear reading glasses, computer glasses, protective eyewear, or other visual aids, you may want to bring these as well. Because getting your pupils dilated can leave you sensitive to light for several hours following your appointment, it’s wise to bring sunglasses to the appointment.
A comprehensive eye exam involves a series of comfortable and pain-free tests that offer a close-up look at your eye health and visual function. Between having all the tests performed and discussing the results with our eye doctor, you can expect your visit to last up to an hour.
If you have vision insurance, you can expect to have coverage for some aspects of care. While every vision plan offers specific benefits, they generally offer some coverage for routine care such as annual exams and eyewear. If your eye condition qualifies as a medical issue, some coverage under your medical insurance may apply. We’re happy to answer any questions on vision insurance and to work with you to optimize your benefits. Although our financial office is well versed in the complexities of insurance coverage, it’s always a good idea to review your specific benefits with your HR department or insurance carrier.
The eye exam is free with the purchase of two pairs of glasses. If you don’t purchase any glasses, the the exam cost is $69.
