Over the last few years, the staff, especially Ms. Donna Panzer, continues to support and actively engage in the care of our father. He recently needed to move from Independent Living to the Assisted Living wing and Donna made that happen seamlessly throughout the entire process, even in the midst of a pandemic. Everyone we've come in contact with in the Brightview/Avondell family, has provided what both our family and father need in order for him to thrive. We are all very appreciative of their continued efforts.

Avondell has been a true blessing for my mom, my dad and my step-mom. Private independent living and assisted living options are few and far between in Harford County. Although it is not affordable, for all, the community is an amazing choice for those who have the resources. The administrative and direct care staff are superb. The residence and its dining areas are kept very nicely. Most importantly, COVID-19 mitigation has been outstanding.

My Mother has been a resident since March 2021. She recently moved to Assisted Living and is getting great care. Her medication management was a huge issue for her. No worries now - all is managed and taken care of by a wonderful and caring staff. Highly recommend Bightview Avondell.

My mother has been at Brightview Avondell for more than 7yrs. and loves living there. She presently is one of the oldest residents and is treated like a queen. In fact, her birthday is one day off from Queen Elizabeth!! The staff is very considerate and will do whatever it takes to make her comfortable and secure. She exercises weekly in the pool, still pays a visit to the workshop, attends, bingo, mass, attends the many concerts and special events that the facility offers. She always raves about the food and that they always give her too much. She has made so many friends of the years and enjoys having dinner with her special group of residents. My family has been extremely pleased with how the staff has managed the Covid protocols as priority one is to keep their residents as safe and healthy as possible. Whenever I visit, everyone is very friendly and welcoming. i would highly recommend this facility to anyone who is searching for a wonderful environment for their loved one to spend their senior living experience.
