This is the best in Gainesville. My favorite PT is Scott Eddins. He is so thorough. I can’t count the times he has helped me with a variety of problems due to my activities and age. I highly recommend this facility.

After going to 3 different “physical therapists” in The Villages and making little progress, I was determined to find someone who could help relieve my shoulder/neck pain, no matter how far I had to drive. That’s how I found Kinetix and Dr. Rafael Cui. I feel very fortunate that I was able to make the 3 hr (roundtrip) to Kinetix twice a week. Now I know what true Physical Therapy can do for you when you’re in the hands of an expert. Dr. Cui methodically executed a plan that increased my stability and lessened my neck pain each week. He’s taken me through a series of workout exercises that I do at home, (which actually work) and keep me in great shape between visits. I felt that Dr. Cui was totally invested in helping me get the best outcome possible. Thank you Dr. Cui!

Yes we do. We are in network with Medicare and most commercial health insurance plans. It's best to call (352-505-6665) our Patient Care Coordinators and let them do a complimentary benefit check for you, as some require prior authorization for the evaluation and treatment. We file all claims for you too!

I work full-time, so how will I be able to make my appointments?

Don't worry! We can accommodate your work schedule. Most people come in early before work or on their way home from work. Sorry, we're closed on the weekends to rest from all those early and late appointments during the week!

How do I know if PT will help my problem?

You will get an evaluation by one of our highly trained and experienced physical therapists. They will do tests to find the root cause of your problem and tell you if PT is right for you. If it is. then they will explain exactly how many visits it will take to relieve or eliminate your pain. If it's not, then they will refer to a physician specialist.

I don't have health insurance, so what will PT cost?

Our evaluation and per visit rate is low by comparison to other clinics in the area. Don't worry, you and your PT will come up with an affordable solution to get you better fast! We have a payment plan option that is budget friendly. Bottom line: get the help you need and we'll help you figure out a payment option.

What if my doctor says I need imaging or nerve tests? Do you do diagnostic testing or do I need to go to an imaging center first?

Kinetix Physical Therapy | Sep 18, 2021

Our Hands-On Diagnostic Center is located inside Kinetix. Your PT may recommend diagnostic ultrasound to see inside your joints or an EMG and Nerve Conduction Study to test muscle strength and find the root cause of your pain. Diagnostic testing and PT is in one convenient location. No more running around town and making another doctor appointment to get the results! Call us to find out more.

Do I need a doctor's referral for a PT evaluation?

No, in most cases you don't need a doctor's referral to get physical therapy! Florida is a direct access state, which means that you can be seen without a referral for up to 30 days. If you doctor agrees with our plan of care for you, then we can see you longer, if necessary. Your health insurance my require that you get a referral though. Call our Patient Care Coordinators (352-505-6665) as they are knowledgeable and helpful.
