ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE!!! Rude over priced and given the wrong prescription. Waited over 2 weeks to receive an order and then wait 7 days for a refund. Go anywhere else!!

I came to Vision Works in Amsterdam today because I had a prescription from my ophthalmologist for corrective lenses and this was one of the sites on their referral list. I did not believe it was necessary to make an appointment because I didn't need the eye exam. When I registered at around 10:10 am, i was told there would be a 45 minute wait. I didn't regard this as a problem because I needed time to select frames. At 11:55, i was still waiting. I finally went to the desk, asked for my prescription back, and left. During my extended wait, the waiting room remained full and people were still coming in. Another concern: lack of privacy for those people sitting with the optician while providing their information for the entire room to hear.

Me and my wife have now been setting here for an hour and a half JUST TO PICK UP OUR GLASSES THAT ARE ALREADY PAID FOR!!! No sense of urgency with anyone her.

We have been trying to get appts. The doctor had a death in the family. It has messed up the schedule. We were rescheduled, but still showed up because we never got the call. They use a robodialer service that the phone companies block. Customer service is not looking good, but they are last ones around to take our insurance.

I had a real issue with them answering their phones. The only way I could make an appointment was online. That's terrible public relations.
